🌍 What Is the SME Climate Hub and Race to Zero Net-Zero Badge?
The SME Climate Hub is an international platform jointly launched by the We Mean Business Coalition, the Exponential Roadmap Initiative, and the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions, serving as the official pathway for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the Race to Zero campaign.
By joining the SME Climate Hub, SMEs are able to take a science-based and strategic approach to gradually advancing emissions reduction actions. Participating companies are also formally included in the United Nations Race to Zero global roster, joining businesses, cities, and organizations worldwide in working toward a net-zero future.
Becoming part of this initiative signifies that ACL Biomedical has officially aligned with United Nations climate action, closely linking its corporate operations with global sustainability goals and contributing to long-term, responsible growth within the healthcare industry.

After reviewing its operational structure, ACL Biomedical found that the company’s carbon emissions sources are relatively simple and clear, mainly concentrated in two key areas:
🔹 Vehicle fuel used for staff travel and deliveries
This includes daily operational transportation, such as business visits and product deliveries.
🔹 Purchased electricity for offices in Taipei and Kaohsiung
This covers electricity needs for daily office work, administration, and operational support.
This clear emission structure allows ACL Biomedical to advance emissions reduction initiatives in a practical, feasible, and trackable manner, rather than relying on slogan-driven sustainability commitments.
